Carina Diamond is the Chief Executive Officer of GFP Private Wealth, where she leads the firm’s strategic direction and works closely with advisors and clients to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across the organization. In her role, Carina focuses on long-term growth, leadership development, and maintaining a strong fiduciary culture as the firm evolves alongside its clients’ needs.
Carina brings more than 30 years of experience leading wealth management organizations through growth, transition, and change across multiple channels, including RIAs, brokerage, banking, and accounting firms. Prior to joining GFP Private Wealth, she served as Chief Growth Officer at Dakota Wealth Management, where the firm tripled in size during her tenure. She has also founded and led several wealth and advisory firms, including Springside Partners (now Dakota Wealth), Dakore Wealth (now Eide Bailly Wealth), and Stella Secunda Partners, a consultancy focused on succession planning, fintech integration, and organic growth strategies. Earlier in her career, Carina led the wealth management division at the regional accounting firm SS&G (now BDO), further strengthening her perspective on integrated planning and multidisciplinary collaboration. Her work has been recognized across the industry, including being named a Forbes America’s Top Women Advisor multiple times, as well as receiving honors from InvestmentNews and RIA Intel. She is also the founder of Flourish – Women and Wealth, an educational initiative focused on financial literacy and leadership for women.
Carina is deeply committed to education, leadership development, and the Northeast Ohio community. She serves as a Trustee of The University of Akron Foundation and is a founding board member of the Women in Philanthropy committee. She has also established a leadership program for graduate women and a scholarship supporting women pursuing careers in financial planning.
